How to Thaw: For best results, defrost lobster tails overnight in the refrigerator. If you're short on time, you can also place them in a bowl of cold water for 30 to 60 minutes until fully thawed. Quality product

We received very quickly in good condition. We have already enjoyed 2 tails with great steak! I did note, it was very clean prepped & easy took 5 mins to get it ready for the grill. It was so tender & juicy! I’m basically a lobster snob. I’m from Nova Scotia living in USA, I know my lobster 😌 I stopped ordering in restaurants, it’s always over cooked & over priced. Can’t wait to make a seafood Scampi with the meat & my fav lobster roll! Yummy! This is not an everyday meal, yes it cost a bit more, but it’s a delicacy! I have ordered from other fresh fish companies but found the meat was too wet when thawed, which of course causes it to be mushy. This really tasted like I just picked it up off the wharf like we did back home. Anyway, very satisfied, great seafood, buy it!!

Yes, it's pricey, but given that whole lobsters aren't cheap, you have to cook them, and extract the meat, this is a great deal. Claws and knuckles are the sweetest by far.

Superior Service and Product

I ordered my excellently priced lobster from Shop Lobster late one night and it was packed and shipped the very next day and arrived at my door step 24 hours later. It was packaged in the absolute best "perishable item" box I've ever seen. The ice in the packaging wasn't melted at all because the insulation was so good, which has always been an issue with other perishable foods that I have ordered. Finally, the lobster. .. I opened the box containing the actual lobster tails and found multiple rows of 8-10 oz lobster tails completely frozen. They were beautiful and smelled like the sea from which they were plucked, no fishy smell at all, which told me these lobster were fresh. Thank you Shop Lobster for fresh, huge, reasonably priced lobster that is going to be eaten today in my home only a day after you shipped it to me.

Meat came when it was supposed to and everything was still frozen, thawed over 24 hours but still needed cold water bath to finish, everything tasted great! We will definitely do it again.
